Mrs. Mae C. Grisell 88 died Wednesday afternoon in Mapleview Nursing Home. She was a daughter of Eleanor and Druscilla Bramble Cole and was born April 18 1878 in Dillsboro, Ind. She married Elpha B. Grisell here on June 27 1908. Mr. Grisell died Oct 28 1941. After living here for five years she and her husband moved to Rector, Ark where they operated a hotel. They moved back to Crawfordsville after periods of farming in Lockland, Ohio and Penville, Ind. Mr. Grisell was employed here by Crabbs-Reynolds-Taylor Company. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Christian Women's Fellowship and Flower Lover's Club. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. David O. Gallaer and Mrs. Faye F. Branham; a son, Addison; four grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren. Friends may call at the funeral home beginning at 2 p.m. Friday. Services will beheld at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Saturday. Rev. Howard F. MIller will officiate. burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
